Notes

This material has not been examined: the description is based on the online catalogue records. These copies,  all in the hand of the same copyist, are part of the original performance material used at the the Königl. Hof- und National-Theater, Munich for performances in 1888, and were presumably produced to supplement the set of lithographed orchestral parts owned by the theatre:

1. These copies were probably produced because players preferred to have separate parts for each instrument.

2. Apparently the lithographed 3. trombone and tuba parts inadvertently omitted No. 8.

3. This manuscript part supplies a passage omitted from the No. 11 in the lithographed part.

4. Apparently the lithographed 3. trombone, tuba and timpani parts inadvertently omitted No. 12.

5. The format of these solo parts is not recorded. Comparable volumes for the Haushofmeister, Student und Wirt appear not to survive.
