  • This is kept in the archive of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra with a set of first edition parts, GMPO1, a copyist's Particell and individual parts for the off-stage trumpets, CPart, CO.

  • This printed score has been corrected in ball-point to bring it in line with the IGMG edition: interestingly it was only then (i.e. after 1964) that the repeats in movements 1 and 2 were inserted.

  • Has some variants in red ink (the only such additions) at the beginning of the Trio. All have been deleted in pencil:
